Eminent Pharmacologist, medical teacher, former Principal Government Medical College, Amritsar and Director Research & Medical Education (DRME) Punjab. Dr Singh was a teacher par excellence and taught in different medical colleges in the country including JIPMER, Pondicherry, AIIMS Delhi and the Medical Colleges of the State of Punjab.
He contributed to innovative pharmacological research at national and international level. He was a consultant to the ICMR, WHO and also a Senate member of Manipal University. His contributions in medical education is a benchmark on which all future curricula in pharmacology teaching are based. A great loss to Pharmacology society.
