The cutaneous capillary permeability - increasing action of the essential oils from leaves of Eucalyptus hybrid and seeds of Seseli indicum was evaluated in Evan«SQ»s blue-treated rabbits. Both the oils (0.1 ml each) increased the permeability on their intradermal administration and the effect persisted up to a period of 6 hr of observation. This effect of oils may be beneficial for their probable wound healing activity.
